Special Needs Event
July 18th 2010
Thomas
Sherwin Chapter #14, Pioneers, hosted a day of fun for 216
individuals/clients,
137 staff/guardian and 37 volunteers, totaling
390 in attendance.

This event was
held at Triangle, 420 Pearl Street, Malden, MA.

This event gave
physically and mentally challenged individuals an
opportunity to
have a day of fun at no cost to them.
The fun filled
day consisted of music provided by a DJ, a magician,
face-painting, picture buttons and some tried there luck at Bingo.
Lunch was
served, along with fresh popped popcorn and an ice cream truck for
all.

Caroline Cook said,
“There is no way to
express the feeling you come away with after seeing the
smiles and
hearing the laughter from these individuals.”

Pioneers, Thomas Sherwin Chapter #14, hosted a day of fun for 292
individuals/clients, 202 staff/guardian and 38 volunteers, totaling
532 in attendance. This Special Needs Event was held at Triangle,
420 Pearl Street, Malden, MA.
This event gave physically and
mentally challenged individuals an opportunity to have a day of fun
at no cost to them. The fun filled day consisted of music provided
by a DJ, a magician, face-painting, picture buttons and some tried
there luck at Bingo. Lunch was served, along with fresh popped
popcorn and an ice cream truck for all.
